Research
In conducting user research, I engaged in in-depth interviews with several creators, uncovering their key pain points. This feedback, particularly regarding the need for streamlined content management and improved audience interaction tools.
The research synthesis led to the following insights:
Creators seek enhanced analytics and actionable insights for optimizing their outfit posts.
There is a strong demand for guidance and support for new creators starting out.
Creators desire improved tools for comparing various aspects of their content.
There's a need for clearer and more detailed information regarding payouts, including frequency and amounts.
Based off the interviews conducted, I realized a few of them are pretty similar. Personas helped stay grounded.
User flow revamp
I streamlined the creator posting experience by introducing a unified interface, addressing the previous issue of fragmented content management. We also enhanced product review features, allowing creators to provide detailed insights about product fit, size, and quality, thereby empowering them and improving follower engagement with their content.
I omitted the flows here for legal reasons.
Ideation
I started to draft out possible solutions with my team. Revisiting the initial data points and interviews to define the best route.
Motion Design Responsibilities
As the team's sole motion designer, my role involved building motion elements from a design system perspective, ensuring they could be seamlessly integrated into various designs and flows. I was responsible for creating an accessible system for other designers to use existing motion graphics, and I established a robust handoff process for engineers, ensuring seamless integration.
