I'm Sharif York. My design journey isn't your typical story. It started at 14 years old with 3D design and animation for games, where I quickly learned the ropes and earned my first $1,400 check building a game. That early success propelled me into the freelance world, working on everything from games to short films. I needed a demo reel, so I decided to teach my self how to build websites from scratch.

That's when I discovered the compelling world of UI/UX and motion design. It went beyond aesthetics to crafting resonant experiences. Soon after, I began designing websites and basic apps for small clients, turning concepts into impactful realities. My work has also been featured on TechCrunch. I utilize research, user insights, and data to develop empathetic and visually compelling designs. My approach uniquely bridges the gap of culture, offering diverse perspectives in design.

Now, I merge my initial love for 3D animation and design with the latest in UI/UX and motion design, creating a unique fusion of skills and innovation.

Outside my core work, I contribute to Substack and Medium, sharing my knowledge and experiences in design and animation. I indulge in off-roading adventures, 3D designing for film and games, and enjoy swimming at the beach.
